Undefeated in 3 starts at 2, his only stakes win was the Remsen at Aqeuduct. Won his 2009 debut at Oaklawn in the Southwest Stakes where he chased a fast pace before drawing clear late. Set the pace for most of the Rebel Stakes but couldn't hold off the late rally of 56-1 Win Willy, finishing 2nd by 2 1/4 lengths. Finished 2nd in the Arkansas Derby but came out of the race with a non-displaced slab fracture to his right knee. It is not life threatening, but required surgery and he was retired.
