Saturday May 17, 2008 | permalink | comments (0) 2008 Black-Eyed Susan Day at Pimlico Friday at Pimlico, Sweet Vendetta rallied from last to win the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes and Student Council (right) just got up by a neck to win the Pimlico Special. Also on the Friday card were the Miss Preakness win by Palanka City, the Woodlawn won by Termsofengagement, and The Very One won by All Giving. Preakness Entries and Post Positions Thursday May 15, 2008 | permalink | comments (0) 2008 Preakness Entries 13 3-year-olds were entered for the 133rd running of the Preakness, the second jewel of the Triple Crown. As expected, Kentucky Derby winner Big Brown made the heavy favorite at odds of 1-2 and will preak from post 7. The only other Derby horse to enter was Gayego who will break from post 12 and is second favorite at 8-1. Get the post positions, odds, and free past performances here.

She will be missed by many.
