Won a maiden special weight at Keeneland and allowance at Churchill then was 4th in the Cash Call Futurity at Hollywood last year. Made his first start of 2008 in the Fountain of Youth and was a miserable last by almost 40 lengths after being squeezed in the first turn. Came back in the Toyota Blue Grass and won by a neck over pacesetter Cowboy Cal after chasing in second most of the race. In the Kentucky Derby he raced in 12th early, about 7 lengths off the pace but wide throughout, and showed nothing late, finishing last of 20, beaten 59 1/2 lengths.
