Raced at Calder as a 2-year-old. Broke his maiden in his second start then was 2nd in the Affirmed Stakes and 4th in the Foolish Pleasure. Made his 2008 debut in February at Gulfstream and won an allowance by 14 1/2 lengths. Followed up with another allowance win, then 4th in the Florida Derby, and won the Holy Bull Stakes. Faded to 7th in the Preakness after chasing in 4th early.
