Updated: The second pool is now closed and as expected the field is the favorite again in the Derby but at an unexpected high of 6-1. In the Oaks Santa Anita Oaks winner Rags to Riches came out the favorite at 4-1 while the field came second at 7-1. A three-way tie between Nobiz Like Shobiz, Circular Quay, and Street Sense was second favorite in the Derby at 8-1. Get the full list of odds in the table below.

The 2007 edition of Churchill Downs' Kentucky Derby Future Wager is set to open its second four-day run on Thursday March 8, and the mutuel field, the wagering interest that includes all 3-year-olds other than the 23 individual betting interests in the pool, has been installed once again as the favorite at 4-1 on the morning line.

The favored individual horses in the morning line for the second Kentucky Derby Future Wager pool are James Tafel’s Street Sense, the reigning 2-year-old champion and winner of the $2 million Bessemer Trust Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (GI); J. Paul Reddam’s Great Hunter, third in the Juvenile and winner of last week’s Robert B. Lewis Stakes (GII) at Santa Anita; and Derrick Smith and Michael Tabor’s Ravel, winner of the Sham (GIII) at Santa Anita. All three horses are listed at odds of 8-1.

The Kentucky Oaks Future Wager is open at the same time, and Rags to Riches is the favorite at 4-1 with the mutuel field a close second at 5-1.

Wagering on the four-day pool opens at noon (all times Eastern) on Thursday and will continue until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday,

Below are the wagering interests and morning line odds for both races. Free past performances are available from Daily Racing Form[/link and [link url=http://www.brisnet.com/cgi-bin/gateway.cgi?from=612&to=cgi-bin/static.cgi?page=derbypps&header=no]BRIS.
