Wild Desert winning the 2005 Queen's Plate at Woodbine

Wild Desert had not raced since finishing 8th behind Afleet Alex in the Arkansas Derby in April, but he seems to have handled the long lay-off in fine fashion. He rallied from 8th to win by a half length over King of Jazz with the filly Gold Strike another 3 3/4 lengths back in third.
