2010 Japan Cup
The filly Buena Vista won the 2010 Japan Cup (G1) but was disqualified to second place for interference giving the win to Rose Kingdom with Victoire Pisa finishing third. This is the first time there has ever been a disqualification of the winner in this race.
2007 Japan Cup Results
Admire Moon came through on the rail in the stretch, opened up a 2 length lead, and just held off the late close of Pop Rock to win the 2007 Japan Cup by a head. Favorite Meisho Samson was third as the Japan-based horses swept the top three places. Get the results, chart, and photos here.
2007 Japan Cup Preview
The 2007 Japan Cup will be run for the 27th time on Sunday November 25th at Tokyo Racecourse. The $4.4 million race at 2400 meters on the turf (about 1 1/2 miles) always attracts a good group of foreign entries. Also on Saturday the 24th is the Japan Cup Dirt at 2100 meters (1 5/16 miles) will feature Pacific Classic winner Student Council.

2000 Japan Cup Results
Local 2-1 favorite TM Opera O won by a neck over longshot Japanese entry Meisho Doto with Godolphin's Fantastic Light a nose back in third. John's Call finished 9th. Several nice photos from the race.
