Winner of the Sapling Stakes at Monmouth, he was 3rd in the Nashua at Aqueduct and 3rd in the Delta Jackpot Stakes. Made his first start of the year in the Southwest Stakes at Oaklawn, but had traffic problems and finished 5th. Followed that up with a 7th place finish in the Rebel Stakes but bounced back to win the Federico Tesio Stakes at Pimlico, so might make the Preakness if he doesn't go to the Derby.
