Comments:

Won the Florida Derby, Kentucky Derby, and Preakness before being eased in the Belmont Stakes as a huge favorite. Came back to win the Haskell and Monmouth Stakes, but less impressively than early in the year. Many fans are looking forward to a showdown between him and Curlin, so hopefully they both show up. <p> Unfortunately, he was injured in a workout at Aqueduct on October 13, 2008, and has been retired and that match-up will never happen.
