Won the Florida Derby, Kentucky Derby, and Preakness before being eased in the Belmont Stakes as a huge favorite. Came back to win the Haskell and Monmouth Stakes, but less impressively than early in the year.
He was retired shortly after that due to a workout injury where he lost a huge chunk of his right front foot. Now stands at Three Chimneys Farm for a stud fee of $65,000 in 2009.
