The Juvenile Fillies race seemed to follow the lead of their elders,
with another longshot lighting up the Churchill Downs toteboard. Raging
Fever was the lukewarm 5-2 favorite given her career unbeaten streak of 5
wins, capped off by her win in the Frizette, but like her Distaff
counterpart Riboletta, she finished off the board.

Caressing holds off the late charge of Platinum Tiara to win. Her jockey John Velazquez said: "It was my first time on her and I got her
into perfect position and she gave me the best she got. When I asked her
to run, she responded. When you have a horse that responds like that, it
makes it easy for the jockey."
Caressing in the post parade. Her trainer David Vance said: "It's been a plus being at Churchill Downs with her. She's been here since early April and she knows the track."

The happy connections in the winners' circle. Her owner Carl Pollard said: "I didn't think this was an upset. I have a lot of confidence in [trainer] David [Vance] and I'm so happy for him. It's a dream come true to win in front of the hometown crowd."
Second place finisher Platinum Tiara in the post parade. Jockey Shane Sellers said: "The winner had a clean trip. I had a clean trip up until the quarter pole. The inside horse drifted off the rail and I had to check. I lost momentum. It was just enough to cost me a half-length. She ran her heart out."
Third place finisher She's a Devil Due in the post parade. Jockey Mark Guidry said: "She fired. She did everything perfect. The pace was coming back to us and she was picking up horses. Turning for home I was second and thought I had a real good shot."
5-2 favorite Raging Fever in the post parade. Jockey Jerry Bailey said: "We were in a good spot down the backside where I wanted to be, and she was rating kindly. With this speedy kind of
track I thought she was in good shape. She mae a little run coming off the turn but not enough to hold off the closers."
