Trainer Bobby Frankel passes away at age 68

Monday November 16, 2009
Frankel passed away on Monday at his home in Pacific Palisades from complications of lymphoma, which had returned 6 months ago after he beat it 10 years prior. He was a top trainer for over 40 years and was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 1995. He not only won 5 Eclipse Awards as top trainer but trained 10 horses who won 11 individual Eclipse Awards. Here is a look at his career.
