Made one start in England last year where he broke his maiden. Shipped to the US and won his first start here at Santa Anita in December in the Eddie Logan Stake. Next out he won the California Derby at Golden Gate, then shipped to the Fair Grounds where he was 3rd in the Louisiana Derby, then back to California to finish 4th in the Santa Anita Derby. Likes to rally from way back and certainly doesn't seem to mind shipping. Never a factor in the Preakness, finishing 10th.
