Raced in Peru where he was the 2-year-old champion last year shipping to the US. Rallied from last to finish 3rd in the Florida Derby behind Big Brown for his first start this year. He finished 6th as the favorite in the Lexington at Keeneland in a last ditch attempt to get enough earnings to make the Derby field, but he didn't make it. Went to the Peter Pan next and was never in it, finishing 7th. Came down with some congestion on June 1st and is out of the Belmont.
