Won the Jack Goodman (Santa Anita) and the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Sprint (Churchill) as a juvenile. Started 2012 with a runner-up finish in the Sham (G3) at Santa Anita, and then shipped to Oaklawn to win the 2nd division of the Southwest (G3) and returned to win the Rebel (G2) on March 17. Could not catch stablemate Bodemeister in the Arkansas Derby (G1) and finished 2nd beaten 9 1/2 lengths. They found a sesamoid injury a couple of days after the Arkansas Derby and he will be out for about 4 months to recover. No surgery will be needed and he should be back in training in August.
