Broke his maiden first try at Belmont, then was 3rd in the Saratoga Special and 2nd in the Arlington-Washington Futurity. Made his 2008 debut in the Southwest Stakes at Oaklawn and flattened out to finish 6th. Came back to be 2nd in an allowance at the Fair Grounds, 2nd in the Transylvania Stakes at Keeneland, then 3rd in the Lexington Stakes. Chased the early pace in 2nd for 6 furlongs in the Preakness before fading to 12th.
