Broke his maiden on the third try last year then was 2nd in an allowance at Churchill Downs. First start this year was an allowance at the Fair Grounds where he was 3rd, then went to the Illinois Derby and won wire-to-wire by 4 lengths. Ran in 3rd most of the way in the Kentucky Derby then weakened in the stretch and finish 5th. Spiked a fever on 5/9 so will miss the Preakness.
