Comments:

Won his only start last year, a maiden special weight at Aqueduct in late November. This year he won the Fountain of Youth and the Florida Derby but missed the Triple Crown races due to a quarter crack in his right hind foot. Came back in August to win the Amsterdam at Saratoga then was third behind Summer Bird in the Travers on the slop. Had a sloppy track again in the Jockey Club Gold Cup and was unable to hold off Summer Bird, finishing 2nd.
