Won both starts as a 2-year-old. Has been at Tampa Bay Downs so far this year where he won the Pasco Stakes for his 2009 debut, was 3rd to General Quarters in the Sam F. Davis, and then won the Tampa Bay Derby last out. Was included in the late Triple Crown nominees released on April 1st. Went to Hawthorne for the Illinois Derby for his final prep and won by 2 lengths, so off to Kentucky now. In the Kentucky Derby he raced mid-pack early then rallied to finish third, just missing 2nd by a nose. 8th early in the Preakness, he moved up steadily to finish 3rd, only missing 2nd by a half length.
