Finished 2nd in last year's Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) and closed out the year winning the CashCall Futurity (G1). This year he won the Rebel (G2), was 3rd in the Santa Anita Derby (G1), and a disappointing 6th as the favorite in the Kentucky Derby (G1). He came back to win both the Preakness (G1), the Haskell Invitational (G1), and the Indiana Derby (G2). Facing older horses for the first time in the Breeders' Cup Classic (G1), he finished fourth. He was retired to stand at stud at Coolmore America (Ashford Stud), and was voted Champion Three-Year-Old Male for 2010.
