Comments:

Last year, he broke his maiden on his third try then was 4th in the Saratoga Special and 4th in the NAC Futurity at Monmouth. Laid off from September to February and was 3rd in an allowance at Gulfstream behind Imperial Council for his 2009 debut. Then lead most of the way in the Tampa Bay Derby but couldn't hold off Musket Man, finishing 2nd by a neck. Led and faded to 5th beaten 5 lengths in the Blue Grass for his final prep. He was lucky to get in the Derby with only $90,000 in graded earnings, and has yet to win a stakes race. Led for the first mile of the Kentucky Derby, then faded to finish 7th.
