Won the Hutcheson Stakes at Gulfstream Park easily in his 3-year-old debut then was 4th in the Fountain of Youth. Went in the Bayshore at Aqueduct and won easily then won the Matt Winn Stakes at Churchill Downs. Rested for 3 months, then came back at Saratoga to run 2nd in the Amsterdam and get the win in the King's Bishop Stakes after Vineyard Haven was disqualified for interference. Made his final prep in the Phoenix at Keeneland and closed late to finish 2nd by a half length to Fatal Bullet.
