Came into the Kentucky Derby undefeated and came out the same way with an impressive 6 1/2 length win. Many thought he had a legitimate chance to go all the way in the Triple Crown this year. Sadly, he broke down in the Preakness shortly after the start of the race. He had successful surgery to repair the leg and hopefully will recover to start a new career at stud.
