A field of five older fillies and mares went in the $300,000 Just a Game Stakes (G2), a 1 mile trip over the Widener turf course. Jenny Wiley fifth place finisher Wait A While was sent off as the 7-10 favorite over 7-2 My Typhoon, who defeated her in the same race at Keeneland in April.

The top two choices My Typhoon and Wait a While went right to the front and after battling the first 1/4 in 25.03, Wait a While backed off allowing My Typhoon an uncontested 1 1/2 length lead through a 1/2 in 49.01 and 3/4 in 1:12.42. Taking full advantage of the slow pace, Eddie Castro asked My Typhoon to pull away at the top of the stretch and she did, opening up a 3 1/2-length lead with 1/8 mile to go. Favorite Wait a While could not gain any ground in the stretch, as My Typhoon cruised to an easy 3 3/4-length win in 1:34.92 over the firm course. It was another 1 1/2 lengths back from Wait a While to 5-1 third choice Take The Ribbon in third.
