Jockey John Velazquez said, "As soon as she stumbled out of there, my heart stopped. First thing that comes to your mind, please don't get hurt. Second going through my head was like don't pull a shoe off. Right after that, I thought, good thing it was a mile and a half. She kind of got herself together going to that first turn. After that, she was going comfortable the whole way."
