Charlie Boden, representative of winning owner Darley Stable added, "After the other horse (Sea Chanter) was scratched, we took her to New York, that was pretty much what (Skylighter) had to do, go to the front. It was a very heady ride by Mr. Leparoux, a pretty easy go."
