Nine 3-year-old fillies went in the $100,000 Edgewood Stakes at 1 1/16 miles on the turf. 6-1 third choice Magnificent Song and jockey Garrett Gomez sat off the pace set by Beau Dare, then came out wide on the turn and rallied strongly to wear down 9-1 shot Fiery Dancer through the stretch to win by 1/2 length. 4-1 second choice May Night was third, while 2-1 favorite Kitty Hawk finished fourth. The time as 1:42.15 over the turf course rated firm.
