Thursday morning was very overcast and the temperature was about 70 degrees, and while the rain held off for a bit, it did eventually come. Several Derby horses came out on the track until 9am when the rain started to pick up. A few also schooled in the paddock during the races in the afternoon. The rain lasted from about 9am to noon, then started to slack off and the rest of the afternoon was mostly dry with some sun. Unfortunately more rain is on the way for overnight and tomorrow.
I Want Revenge came out before the break and trotted in the mile chute for a while, then made an easy lap around the track.
