Union Rags was out for a gallop this morning and schooled in the paddock in the afternoon. He drew post position 4 for the Derby. After the draw, his trainer Michael Matz said, "We're going to have him run out of there a little bit, but that's not the worst thing in the world. My original thought was that I wasn't crazy about it, but where everybody is, I don't think it's so bad."
