Big Brown walks the shedrow at Belmont Park

Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner Big Brown walked the shedrow at Belmont Park on Memorial Day weekend and did not gallop on the track due to a "slight" quarter crack, 5/8 inch in length, that was detected on the inside of his left front foot late last week. They repaired the crack with stainless steel wire and will eventually patch it. He is better now and did start galloping again on Tuesday morning.
