Graded stakes earnings are used to determine the order of preference for which horses are drawn into the Kentucky Derby if there are more than 20 horses, the maximum allowed number of starters, entered into the race. Below is a list of the contenders with their graded earnings through April 22th and a link to a profile where available. This list will be updated weekly as the Derby 132 prep races are run. All the graded preps are over now, so the only hope for horses below 20 is for someone above to drop out now.
