BASIC INFORMATION
What: 137th Running of the $1 million Belmont Stakes (Gr. 1) for 3-year-olds at 1 1/2 miles. Additionally, the 13-race card will include the $400,000 Manhattan Handicap (Gr. 1), the $250,000 Brooklyn Handicap (Gr. 2), the $200,000 True North Breeders' Cup Handicap (Gr. 2), the $200,000 Riva Ridge Breeders' Cup (Gr. 2) and the $250,000 Just A Game Breeders' Cup Handicap (Gr. 2).

ADMISSION
General Admission: $10, includes access to Backyard Picnic Area, Trackside Apron area and three interior levels of the grandstand.
Clubhouse Admission: $20, includes access to Trackside Apron area and three interior levels.
No infield access.

PARKING (On Belmont Stakes Day)
General Parking: $10
Preferred Parking: $25
No valet parking.
No overnight RV parking.

SEATING
Reserved seats for Belmont Stakes Day on Saturday, June 11, 2005, are sold out. Seats were offered through a lottery that had a deadline of Monday, Feb. 28.

There is, however, always space for thousands of fans in first-come, first-served seating. The Grandstand, Backyard and Trackside Apron area offer plenty of free benches, chairs and picnic tables. ATTIRE
It has long been tradition for spectators to dress up for races. Attire guidelines differ for different parts of Belmont Park:
Box Seats: Gentlemen are required to wear suits or sports coats. Ladies should wear dresses, skirts or slack outfits. Absolutely no shorts or jeans.
Garden Terrace Restaurant: Gentlemen are required to wear suits or sports coats. Ladies should wear dresses, skirts or slack outfits. Absolutely no shorts or jeans.
Clubhouse: Proper attire. No abbreviated wear. Gentlemen may not wear tank tops.
Grandstand: Shirts and shoes required.

COOLERS
Coolers are permitted in Belmont Park's backyard area, but no glass containers of any kind and no alcoholic beverages will be permitted. The restriction regarding alcohol has been enacted in the interest of patron safety and in an attempt to make sure that people drink responsibly.

TELEVISION
The events at Belmont Park will be broadcast throughout the day. ESPN will broadcast from 3 to 5:30 p.m. EDT. NBC will broadcast from 5:30 to 7 p.m. EDT (All times subject to change.)

Belmont Stakes Day is the biggest day in New York race and it always produces impressive numbers and statistics.
