On Wednesday afternoon, the post positions were selected for the 133rd running of the Kentucky Derby, to be run Saturday May 5, 2007, at Churchill Downs. Curlin, runaway winner of the Arkansas Derby, was installed as the 7-2 morning line favorite by oddsmaker Mike Battaglia, slightly ahead of 4-1 Street Sense, looking to become the first Breeders' Cup Juvenile to win the Derby. Todd Pletcher trainee Circular Quay and Wood Memorial winner Nobiz Like Shobiz share third favoritism at 8-1, with the rest of the field in double digits. Below is the field listed in post position order.
