Gamblers Slew wins the Charlie Barley Stakes on Queen's Plate Day

The final stakes on the card was the $100,000 Charlie Barley Stakes for 3-year-olds at one mile on the turf. 9-1 shot Gamblers Slew grabbed the lead straight out of the gate and led every step of the way to win by 2 lengths over 10-1 shot Stag Nation, in a time of 1:33.64.
