"This horse has a lot of heart and desire," said winning trainer, Robert Tiller (on the far left), who trains the March foal for 3 Sons Racing Stable Ltd. "He obviously digs in. He won by a whisker. They tell me they've got to pay you if you win by a nose or by 10 lengths."

Winning jockey Corey Fraser added, "I wasn't as close (early) as I wanted to be today. Halfway through the turn, I got where I wanted to be and he just dug in. We came around the turn and he found gears I didn't know he had. I moved him close to (D Bold Ruler) so he'd dig in more. He really showed up."

The win for Dancer's Bajan, his third career tally, should garner him a few votes in Juvenile Colt Sovereign Award balloting, which concludes Monday. Other expected to receive significant votes are undefeated colts Leonnatus Anteas and Barilko, and Breeders' Cup Juvenile participant, Skip Code.
