Saturday at Belmont Park featured the juvenile divisions prepping for the Breeders' Cup in two seven-furlong stakes events each with a purse of $250,000. The males competed in the Futurity (G2), with King of the Roxy, second in the Saratoga Special, sent off as the 6-5 favorite in the field of six over 2-1 Incriminate. Also in the field was 7-2 third choice C P West.

A hotly contested pace ensued down the backstretch with a tight four-way battle between Incriminate, Kong's Revenge, Sam P, and King of the Roxy through a quarter in 23.11 and a half in 46.75. Through the stretch, pacesetter Incriminate faded to finish fourth, as King of the Roxy took the lead at the 1/8 pole and was all-out to hold off the late closing kick of C P West, completing the trip in 1:24.09.
