The $112,100 Glens Falls Handicap (G3) is the last stakes race of the 2006 Saratoga meeting. Nine older fillies and mares went to post in this 1 3/8 mile event over the inner turf course, with R.G. Dick Handicap runner-up Olaya bet down to 5-2 favoritism over 4-1 Noble Stella, fifth in the Dance Smartly last out.

Sabellina set an uncontested pace of 24.77, 49.14, 1:14.49, and 1:38.97, with Noble Stella 5 lengths behind her and 4 lengths clear of the pack. Sabellina faded on the far turn allowing Noble Stella to inherit the lead at the top of the stretch. Noble Stella, aided by the slow early pace, easy drew away through the stretch to win by 2 lengths over Latice in 2:16.02. It was 3 3/4 lengths back to Louve Royale in third. Favorite Olaya was bumped between horses in the first turn, was shuffled back to seventh, and could not rally into the slow pace, finishing seventh.
