With this victory, Icon Project improved her record to 4-2-2 from 11 lifetime starts with career earnings of $660,965. Icon Project, who spent the first part of her career in England and France, made her American debut this winter at Gulfstream Park on the turf, taking an allowance in her second start and finishing third in the La Prevoyante (G3). She went to Belmont Park where she won the of-the-turf New York Stakes (G3) by 13 1/4 length, then finished second to Swift Temper in the Delaware Handicap (G2) in her second start on dirt.
