lead and she did, powering away to a 5 1/2 length lead in mid-stretch. 11-10
second choice Lady of Venice made a futile run from last early, but Wait a
While had gotten the jump on her and easily held her off to win by 4 3/4
lengths in 1:46.59. It was another 1 1/2 lengths back to 7-1 third choice
Dancing Band in third.
