Trainer Bobby Barbara said, "I think it was a really great race. At one point, I thought he was going to win it. We put him in today looking ahead for a race at Philadelphia Park ($250,000 PTHA President's Cup, September 13). We really wanted to get this race under our belt. He ran very well."
