Spirit One, dismissed at 14-1 on the board, came to Arlington off a close second place finish in La Coupe (G3) at Longchamp in June. His last win was the Prix Exbury (G3) at Saint-Cloud in March. The 4-year-old son of Anabaa Blue improved his record to 5 wins, 6 seconds, and 2 thirds in 18 starts, earning $1,099,619 for owner-breeder Kamel Chehboub.
