In the $100,000 Regret Stakes for fillies and mares, Runnin Cardinal Stable & C.E. Glasscock's My Lucky Free shot to the lead on the turn and stormed home from there, winning by 5 1/4 lengths and stopping the timer in 1:09.15 for six furlongs. Cam Gambolati trains the 3-year-old daughter of Mazel Trick, the 9-5 favorite in the field of eight with Chuck C. Lopez aboard. Notimetoquit rallied for second, finishing one length in front of Summer Sting. It was the first stakes victory and second straight Monmouth score for My Lucky Free, who scored by 5 1/2 lengths here last month. "I was fortunate she got to sit off the pace," Lopez said. "I sat back and watched the fireworks. When I asked her to go, she just took off."
