Deborah England is only the second female trainer to win the Breeders' Stakes, after Catherine Day-Phillips won it two years in a row with A Bit O'Gold and Jambalaya in 2004-2005. Her husband Phil England trained Benburb, who paired with Richard Dos Ramos to win the Prince of Wales Stakes over heavy favorite Alydeed in 1992, and then later that year, upset A.P. Indy in the Molson Million.
