Jockey Richard Migliore said, "He ran his butt off today. We
got comfortable on the lead, but they came after me early. But it took
the starch out of the horses that were nagging at him, then we would do
a little more and they would have to fight to keep up. If they left us
alone until the 5/8 pole, it might have been a different
outcome.
