The last race on Saturday was the $200,000 Regret Stakes (G2) for 3-year-old fillies going 1 1/8 miles on the turf. 9-2 second choice Good Mood settled well off the pace set by 5-1 Dashes and Dots early, then came out 4 wide at the top of the lane. She had to find running room towards the inside at the 1/8 pole, then powered through to get the win going away by 1 3/4 lengths over 7-1 You Go West Girl in 1:47.57. Dashes and Dots finished third, while 5-2 favorite High Heels stalked the pace but faltered in the stretch finishing seventh.
Winning jockey Edgar Prado said, "The main thing was to get her to relax behind the pace, which she did, and that gave us time to find the room. It was difficult for a time, because everybody was backing up in front of me. I had to steady a little bit, but once I found the room, she really took off like a rocket. I think she is going to be a really nice filly."
