There were seven other stakes on the Preakness card worth over $950,000 total. Step through all seven pages here to view a photo of the winner and a recap of each race in the order they were run.
In the $100,000 Baltimore Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint for older horses at 5 furlongs on the turf, 7-1 shot My Lord rallied from the back of the pack and prevailed by just 3/4 length over 9-5 favorite Southern Missle and 32-1 outsider Spring Kitten, in a time of 57.40 over the firm course. Winning trainer Ann Merryman said, "I was happy with the pace when I saw 21-and-3 (seconds for the first quarter). I knew he had a long way to come, but I knew he would try and come home fast. The last race was a good prep. After that race, we were looking to running in this one."
