Sprinting 3-year-old fillies went to post in the $125,000 Miss Preakness Stakes (G3) at 6 furlongs on the main track. 5-2 second choice Wildcat Bettie B took the lead soon after the start and led at every call, winning by a margin of 2 lengths over late-charging Press Camp in a time of 1:10.05 over a fast track. Favorite G City Gal finished a disappointing third in the field of seven. The top 3 finishers are offered a 2007 breeding season to one of North Light, Touch Gold, or Golden Missile, to be determined by race sponsor Adena Springs.
