Jockey Rafael Bejarano said, "He broke good. I had to use him a little to get position. At the 3/8ths pole I thought we were in the perfect position, but we had to wait a little bit. He took off very nicely. He's a very good horse."

Trainer Darrin Miller said, "I was very impressed with his tenacity and professionalism off the layoff. I was real impressed with the way he sat behind those horses. He did that really easy. There are a lot of options on the table. Initially, the Coolmore Lexington was the plan. I'm not sure if that will change. We'll just see how he comes out of this race."
