The $100,000 Matt Winn Stakes (G3) featured 5 three-year-olds going 1 1/16 miles on the main track. Peter Pan (G2) runner-up Right to Vote was sent off as the 9-5 favorite over 2-1 Stealcase, third in the Derby Trial (G3), and 3-1 Macho Macho, an allowance winner last out.

Jockey Javier Castellano sent Right to Vote to the early lead through fractions of 24.36, 48.97, and 1:13.12 while presed by 9-1 Master Rick early. Entering the lane, Right to Vote tired as 4-1 Neck 'n Neck, 3rd early, took over the lead and drew off to win by 7 1/4 lengths over Stealcase in 1:43.72. It was a neck back to Macho Macho third, while favorite Right to Vote checked in fourth.

Trainer Ian Wilkes said, "Honestly, I expected him to run very well. But did I expect him to win that easily? No. Yes he does (love the track), can we just race him here all summer? We're just going to enjoy this win tonight and then we'll sit down and work out a plan."

Jockey Leandro Goncalves added, "This horse has a lot of talent. He had been training well in the morning and he ran big today. He's a nice horse. I felt like I had a ton of horse the whole way. When I finally asked him, he just took over and drove away."
