A half brother to 2005 Derby winner Giacomo, he won the Santa Anita Derby, the Swaps at Hollywood Park, and the Goodwood at Santa Anita last year before finishing 5th in the Breeders' Cup Classic. This year, his only win was in the Oaklawn Handicap back in April and he has since finished 2nd on the Californian, 6th in the Hollywood Gold Cup, and 2nd in the Gooodwood where he closed late to miss by a length behind Well Armed.
