Broke his maiden on the 3rd try then was a dismal 7th in the Remsen. Came back in January to win an optional claimer and the Whirlaway Stakes at Aqueduct, setting the top speed figure so far for the year for a 3-year-old at 106. Ran a disappointing 3rd as the favorite in the Gotham but came back with crud in his lungs, so they are hoping that was an excuse for the poor performance. However, in the Wood he finished fourth beaten 8 1/2 lengths,
